Cache is a 1 litre camo Lock&Lock container.
I took a well marked trail in good condition from the Humpback Road. It took Boo and me about 1/2 hour to reach the top. There are other ways up, and at least one of them is much easier but I don't know how to access it. Even if you find the easy way up, the final cache terrain rating is still level 3.
The posted position will take you to a benchmark near the summit of Mount McDonald. When you reach the benchmark and have regained your breath, take a look around, and head to the nearest power pole.
From the power pole, assuming flat earth, the cache is located 34 metres south and 49 metres west.
First To Find and Second To Find prizes:
When hid, the cache contained sets of coordinates for two nearby micros; one contains a $10 FTF prize and the other contains a $5 STF prize. If these coordinates are still in the cache when you arrive, you're invited to take one set and search for your prize. One prize per group/individual find; thanks!
No digging, or rearranging of Nature's beauty is required; you may have to huff and puff to get to the cache location, but this should be an easy find.
Have fun! Please post pictures if you can.
sandpiper seven used to have a cache nearby called Mount MacDonald; I never got a chance to hunt for it.
