This cache is located in the hills north of San Elijo. This is one that will not be axcessable by four wheel drive. The single track will start just southwest of the busted up Double Peak trail sign. The trail looks good for you MTB'ers.
I placed the cache on a very rainy afternoon in February 2005, The clouds were on top of me and visibilty was not more than about one hundred feet. When I placed the loot, I was getting a twenty five foot accuracy reading on my GPS'r. The rain was coming down so hard and the cloud cover was so dense, that you will likely need to cover a forty foot plus area near the cache, to locate it. I just do not no how accurate my average was, in this type of nasty weather.
