Geocache Description:

The Latin name for mail, 'posta' comes from stations created en-route called 'posata', which means place of rest. These messenger rest stations were placed at strategic locations where major routes crossed and where huge amounts of mail had to be delivered. Was the nearby building such a resting place? Probably not.

You will not be on private property to claim a find of this cache.

You've got (snail) mail! This is a letterbox cache. There is a small container with the logbook, cache stamp & ink pad (not trade items). Bring your signature stamp or just draw a picture in our logbook & then stamp your book with our cache stamp.

The large cache container is crammed full with nice trade items & our signature geofrog #6 (Stars 'N Stripes). 1st finder certificate & packet of "Stop Family Violence" stamps awaits the early bird!

Please don't move the shelter! You can retrieve the cache container easily. Thanks - enjoy!
