Geocache Description:

Once you've solved the simple puzzle, a walk through woodland on footpaths then on to open hillside.

The first location you are given is a car park. To find the actual cache location you will need some clues and to do some simple maths.

Clue 1. X is the number of benches against the wall in front of the visitor centre. (NOT picnic benches/tables.)
Clue 2. A = X - 5
Clue 3. B is the number of lampposts IN the car park.
Clue 4. C is the number of letters in the word that is when the car park closes
Clue 5. L is the number of letters in the full name of the restaurant.

The cache location is 55N 57.ABB,
003W 35 + (C/2).684 - ((L x B x B x C) + 30)

This is less than 2km away from your starting point as the crow flies. Further if you follow the obvious footpaths (advised.) It's also worth going over the summit - you'll know it when you see it - rather than going through the bog on the hill the straight line takes you through. Your signal will come and go a bit as you go through woodland but don't worry as it comes back at all the important bits. The cache contains some valueless junk and used to guarded by Dennis the Menace but he's disappeared (30.07.06). (Used to be a camera there but now removed as two different ones both became useless.)

(Replaced the box on 20.08.06 so hopefully it's dry now, but it's a bit small so there's not much room inside. Contents are really valueless and some are a bit tatty.)

I suggest you allow between one and two hours for the round trip from the car park at the start. Enjoy the view and the play area. Return via the same route or explore some of the other paths.
