Geocache Description:

From the road leading from Kildale to Commondale look for a cross roads with Westerdale signed to the right. About 2.2 miles along this road and down a steepish hill is an attractive parking area near a ford known as Hob Hole.
It is a very popular picnicking area in the summer months and particular so for families with children. A short walk along the beckside soon leaves the crowds behind and you'll need to take this walk anyway to find the cache.

Afterwards why not visit the lovely village of Westerdale just a little further up the road?

You could also visit the Iron Age Village cache which is only about 4 miles from the ford.
