A nice drive up near the columbia valley, with some great views. Make sure you take FROST Rd.
This is a micro cache located in a forest where there are LOTS of places for a full size cache. You may wonder as you are searching for this one why we didn't use a typical container with trade items. However we think once you find it it will make sense!
This one is going to be a little tricky, (at least we hope so!) As you near the co-ords and enter the bush reception becomes pretty spotty, as we mentioned earlier there are a ton of places to hide a full size cache and a million places for a micro! So to help you in your search, once you are in the area of the co-ordinates the container itself should be in plain sight without digging under anything or pulling apart any bushes.
At first you may not believe it is in plain sight, but I think that afterwards, on reflection, you will have to agree it was!
This container contains a small log book and a pencil about 1.5 inches long. There is no room for trade items.
April 28, 2005 I have updated the hint to help compensate for the lack of signal in the area during the summer months.
July 20, 2024 The old geocache camo decomposed and the hide had to change, hint was updated.
Good Luck.
