How Geocaching Works

Geocache Description:

Easy yet subtle hide just off one of the Island trails. Hidden easy for quick access as the trails can be busy with muggles. It is a potentially long walk, especially in the rainy season.

The actual cache is now small, so jewelry items are not likely to fit. And please bring your own writing instrument.

Those rascally natives keep pilfering the castaways' things. This time they nabbed Mrs. Howells jewelry case. They were awed by the pretty trinkets so hid it away. They trade worthy items when chiefs visit from other islands. Of course the visitors must have a worthy trade also.

Please keep the theme with jewelry trades. There is also a registry for visitors who do not know of the tradition.

*** Update May 2014
There is a new container. This was previously an ammo can, with a plastic jewelry box inside, which was unfortunately stolen. Then the plastic box was stolen, and all that remained was a plastic zip lock. So sad when good things are trashed.

The container now has no discernible link to the cache name.
