If you can't project a waypoint down to hundredths of a mile on your GPS (0.xx), you can simply use it "in reverse". Do this by adding 180 to the bearing provided at stage one, and walk away so the GPS shows that calculated bearing (toward the point you're leaving) until you are the given distance away. (The arrow's upside-down.)

Although this Abbey Wright open space is a rarely visited area, at stage one you will be visible to trails surrounding you.
IMPORTANT: As a courtesy to the next finders, kindly return the containers as found! Please have the SAME person who removed it return it properly. (A couple times I found it practically exposed, risking muggling and undermining the challenge...) If there's any trouble, please contact me and I'll gladly take care of it. Thanks!
