To achieve his obsession of making his company the largest manufacturer of marine propulsion in the world, he would sacrifice almost anything.
As a tireless competitor who wore down his opponents with his stamina, ingenuity and constant innovation, he was an intuitive engineer who demanded perfection in both employees and products. The company was founded in 1939, and within a few short decades became the largest manufacturer of marine propulsion in the world.
