Geocache Description:

Container is a camouflage covered flip top water tight plastic container with a log book and pencil.

Just 12 feet to the west of the cache is the final resting place of the person who was a modern-day giant slayer, who delighted in spoiling the well-laid plans of competition. To achieve his obsession of making his company the largest manufacturer of marine propulsion in the world, he would sacrifice almost anything.
As a tireless competitor who wore down his opponents with his stamina, ingenuity and constant innovation, he was an intuitive engineer who demanded perfection in both employees and products. The company was founded in 1939, and within a few short decades became the largest manufacturer of marine propulsion in the world. Now you know the company is Mercury Marine and the first president was Carl Kiekhaefer. For more information read the book - Iron Fist by Jeffrey Rodengen.
