Geocache Description:

A cheeky micro behind Sky Ford, just off the Nicky Line.

The cache is a 6" x 1" tube that previously held effervescent Vitamin C tablets, it has been painted black with a green 'Official Geocache' sticker on the side.

The site is a small wooded area alongside the Nicky Line, an abandoned railway line that ran from Hemel Hempstead to Harpenden. The last passenger train ran on 19 June 1947 and the line was eventually closed down in 1979. If you want to know more about the history of Hemel please look at this site.

The cache site is visible from the main path and from the grounds of the nearby rugby club so be careful not to be seen.

The 'First to Find' reward was £10 to a charity of the finder's choice, the finder was third-degree-witch who chose the New Life Parrot Rescue and Helpline Service Reg. Charity No:1056409. Their website can be found here: New Life Parrot Rescue.
