Geocache Description:

This multi-cache is on church property on the outskirts of Waupaca. As part of a Crystal River conservation project, it was put out and is maintained by the Royal Rangers boys scouting group from the church. This particular group is known as the Adventure Rangers.

GeoCachers have permission to enter the property for the express purpose of hunting the cache, but are asked to avoid scheduled service times or any outdoor events - Sunday mornings 8:00 am - noon, and Sun. & Wed. evenings 6:30 - 8:00 pm.

Park at N44* 20.451 W089* 04.889. The coordinates listed at the top of this page will take you to the clue, which is the final waypoints engraved on a strip of aluminum, attached to a pine tree with a short chain. Please leave this chained to the tree. Stay on the high ground parallel to the highway until within about 15' of the actual cache, and then take a short trip down the hill. It will not be necessary to go down into the swamp!

This cache is winter friendly, and will be able to be completed any time of the year. Your total hike is approximately 6/10 mile from the car, mostly on level ground. The container is a suitably camo'd army green plastic ammo can which is full of a variety of trade goods.

And while you are here, look for our younger brothers' "Lil Churchboys' Cache" (GCPBEH) and "Mini Churchboys Cache" (GC14F8F) on the same property, and the nearby "Real Good Book" (GC2335X) cache.

Logging Etiquette: Geocache hiders sometimes go through a great deal of planning to place their caches. As a result, they'd like to hear your feedback on whether you liked or disliked any aspect of the hide, or if you feel that some cache maintenance is required. Single word, acronym, or emoticon logs may be easier when you have a lot of caches to log, but it doesn't tell the hider or other finders anything about your adventure (or lack thereof) in finding the cache. Please keep this in mind when entering your log.
