When visiting Saint John, many people view the Reversing Falls from the park and restaurant area close to the Reversing Falls Bridge, site of The Loyalist Man. In the summer months you can take a boat ride through the reversing falls.
June 26,2006: We have moved this cache to a more friendly spot (no water, no muck and little trash).Take the path all the way down to the water before start looking for the cache.
From the parking lot at the Reversing Falls you will notice a small trail (N45.15.388, W066.05.253) leading down along the river towards Riverview Drive. Centracare Park is on your right. To find the cache follow the trail. If you continue along the trail you can walk back to your car along Riverview Drive to Lancaster Avenue, through the Park and back to the Reversing Falls parking lot.
The cache is a peanut butter jar with log book, pencil and some trinkets.
From the cache site there is a very pretty view towards the Harbour Bridge. Be careful in the winter, the trail can be very icy and slippery. This trail offers some different views of the Saint John River and the Reversing Falls.
As always, rehide the cache in the same spot you found it, and cover it carefully.
DO NOT ATTEMPT to find this cache by way of Lancaster Avenue. The hill is too steep to be safe, and you will be encroaching on private property. Use the trail at the parking lot to find the cache.
