A quick park, and sign micro, outside the gates of Gateway Park, in downtown Travelers Rest. In the past, this site was home to the famous "Corn Festival", which has been moved to a new location with more space.
This micro is placed in the upper part of the Greenville County, to allow our fellow geocachers an opportunity, to explore new frontiers. The cache is well integrated into the surrounding media, and extreme care should be used, to remove, and replace, the container. Please sign intinials only. The idea is to display the cache site to the general public, in such a way as to make it appear to be in a normal everyday environment. We acknowledge that the crafty, intelligent, geocachers will spot this type of cache from over a mile away. Be sure and run a search on the other cache sites just a few miles from this one.
