Geocache Description:

This is a 3 part cache. All stops are very close. The final stage is a bit difficult to find. As always, be careful of things that may live in the wooded area.

This park is a great place to take the family, fishing poles and something to throw on the grill! You can make a day of it walking the paths, exercising on the vita course or heading off into the woods. The cache is a large plastic bottle.

Pull right into the parking spot for the first stage. Read the plaque and the sign telling about what you see. Answer the following questions to get the next set of coordinates:

Q#1: How many years of service does the plaque commemorate? (N 33 39._ _ 2)

Q#2: I am 15 feet around and _ feet tall. (W 082 11.8 _ 6)

These are the coordinates for stage two.

At stage two, answer the following questions to get to the final stage:

Q#3 is for your N coordinate:
There are _ _ flood gates across the dam. (N 33 39.3 _ _)

Q#4 is for your W coordinate:
Subtract the height found in Q#2 from the number of gates in Q#3. Add this number to the last 3 digits of the Westerly coordinates of stage two (W 082 11.8_6).

Your final destination (N 33 39.3-- W 082 11.8--) is a short walk along the sidewalk by the river, across the bridge and around into a wooded area. It is the reason for the name of the cache.

AGAIN, BE MINDFUL OF INSECTS, PLANTS AND ANIMALS THAT MAY RESIDE IN THE WOODS!
