Geocache Description:

You are looking for a plastic one gallon jug with white screwtop lid

Found this place while scanning the Topographic maps and had to go check it out. I was not dissapointed !

There are many interesting springs around Scott County. Not sure this one is interesting, or just plain dangerous. Definitely not the place to bring jugs or container for drinking water. Signs all over indicate this water is not safe. Not sure why, could be the agricultrual runoff, could be subterranean, and could be from the nearby mine. Nonetheless, it is a beautiful area.

We were on our way to another cache in the area "Where A Cold Wind Blows by worriedman" and decided to check out these springs along the way.

Coordinate are to a spot near a large rock. Some disrespectful person spray painted the rock with RC#1. The cache is directly above this rock. Up the hill there is a large tree near the rock cliff. GPS coverage up there isn't great. Cache is near the large tree.

Please do not leave any food products or anything that smells like food (i.e. fruit scented items). Animals will find and destroy the cache if you do. Thanks.
