Burnaby History Tour:The Big Blast Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Scruffster: This particular area is no longer available. Burnaby Parks is in the process of tagging and cutting down old and dead trees. I plan to place a new cache further down the trail. Thanks to all that visited.

Geocache Description:

This is one in a series of caches dedicated to the history and heritage of North Burnaby.

On a cloudy day in 1903, a major explosion changed the face of Burnaby Mountain forever. Read about it at:

The Big Blast

Located along the main trail in the west arm of Barnet Marine Park, this should be an easy hike for most people. Public parking can be found nearby. Beware of muggles.
