It is said that a mirror reflects your image back to you if you are directly in front of it. If you move to the left, you see a reflection of whatever is to the right of your original position. Let's put that to the test.
The starting coordinates point to the flag pole over Australia's parliament house. Now, imagine that someone has fixed a tall, narrow mirror from ground level right up the pole. If you stand at the War Memorial with your binoculars, you would be directly in front of the mirror and would see your reflection with Mt. Ainslie towering behind you.
If you were to move to the left, to the tall Australian-American memorial (the 'rabbit's ears' @ S 35° 17.853 E 149° 09.100) and look in the mirror, you would see the cache! The distance between the mirror and the cache is the same as the distance between the mirror and the centre of the roundabout behind the rabbit's ears.
The cache has been lost twice, so rather than replace it again or delete the listing, we'd like Mirror Image to be a virtual cache. You will know you've got it when you stand on the western side of the white flappy thing and see a small plaque with 2 arrows pointing in opposite directions and an uppy-downy word over each arrow. Find it & log!
