The Calgary GeoCoins are well on their way to being minted. Rather than have you all drive out to my house to pick up your order, I thought an official type event would be the way to go.
Of course everyone is welcome to attend, regardless of whether or not you ordered coins. I'll probably hide a few new caches in the area of where the event ends up being just to add a bit to the sport of the day (no encryption, I promise).

Anyone wishing to hide caches for the event, I'm collecting lat-lons/gpx
files, and will distribute them the day of the event. After the event the caches
can be submitted on geocaching.com (or anywhere else for that matter) for
posterity.
Actually, the caches can be submitted before the event, and you
can ask that the reviewers don't actually list the cache until the day of, or
after the event.
