A short but uphill hike of approx 350 metres leading to a regular size cache in a little known park in southeast Cambridge.
This is my first attempt at hiding a cache. I picked a spot not far from home that is a great place to go in the evening to watch the sunset. The park entrance is at N43 20.369 W80 17.647 with parking on the street. Watch out for the fire hydrant. From there you will be going uphill following any one of a number of paths (or not) to the cache site. This area can be quite muddy in the summer after a rain and is a great place to toboggan in the winter.
Although I don’t anticipate too much trouble from muggles please be discreet at the cache site and rehide the container well as it is in a fairly visible area.
Alternate parking can be found at N43 20.294 W80 17.766
Let me know what you think of my first hide.........but please be gentle.
