Geocache Description:

Family friendly.

This cache has been placed as part of the 1st Annual Vancouver Island Hide-&-Go Day. The microcache is an orange waterproof match cannister that has been painted dull green, nestled up high under a small rock. It is not covered by moss so please do not rake the ground as you search. If you happen upon an orange survey type tag, you are within a few inches of the cache. It contains only a logbook, so please bring your own writing instrument. No room for trades. Please sign the log with only your name and date in a single space, and kindly DO NOT reveal the number on the orange tag when logging the cache!

15/04/2009 - Maintenance visit to cache to replace logbook and cache container. I found that the cache had been rehidden by someone under some rocks on the floor of the grotto, not far from the entrance. This is a damp location which is likely why the logbook became wet after staying dry for almost 4 years. I rehid it where it was first placed and have revised the hint a bit. Very portly cachers beware - you may want to bring a smaller friend along..... !
