FIRE
Just had to go out and place another cache
in this area. IceCreamMan has two caches near by: Lock and Load. I just had to
place one call FIRE. Just seemed appropriate. There has been a fire near by and
one of his caches burned and he had to replace a few weeks ago.
Now for the cache: You may park at the
following cords:
N 29 32 663 W 081 43.727
These parking cords are located in the
beautiful St. Johns Trailhead South. Bring a picnic lunch and make a day here.
From this location you will be hiking appx 3/4 of a mile one way to the
cache. The path is well maintained and easy to navigate. This is the equestrian
trail. When you get to about 50 from the cache, you will leave the main trail
and have very little bushwhacking, if any. Bring your camera for the
wildlife. Remember to be aware of other creatures of the forest. This
cache is an ammo can, placed at the base of a large tree. It is camoed with
natural ground cover, so bring your poking stick, you will need it. Hope you
