Geocache Description:

Located in the Madison County Wildlife Managment area.

Beautiful quiet area deep in the woods. The drive in is the hardest part of this one. Some cars may be able to make it, but be warned that there are some areas that are wet and have a few drops where many cars may drag bottom. But over all if you have a truck jeep or something like that this is a great road to go explore. The drive in is along a one lane road/trail that passes many nice bluff formations and some nice views of the river way way below. There are many parts of the road that have standing water but these spots are nothing to worry about, trust me they look worse than they actually are. The road turns off of County Road 1425, which is off County Road 1250, the main road into the Managment Area. Once on 1425 you are looking for an unmarked road, the cords are N36 12.033 W093 41.131 (or 2.7 miles) which is just before a small stream that crosses the road (depending on the direction you are coming of course) This may be dry in the summer months. Once you turn onto the small unmarked road follow it until it dead ends. A great place to bring a pic nic lunch, you won't regret it. The cache is only a short walk into the woods from the parking area,which is at the end of the road/trail. Almost like in the B-52s song, Love Shack, once you hear someone say Tin Can, Rusted!.. You will know you are close.
Medium size ammo box with various goodies inside, at time of placing some items were a bouncing rock, small soccer ball, pair of binoculars, a fanny pack, 2 watches and a few small items.
