Geocache Description:

The twin cities of Jefferson and West Jefferson lie in the center of Ashe County.
They are classic small towns, with warm, friendly people.
This is another in a series of caches designed to introduce others to the warmth and charm of this area.

The Ashe County Arts Center is widely known for its excellent Appalachian art exhibits, focusing
almost exclusively on Ashe County artists.
The Arts Center is located on the corner of School Avenue and Main Street in downtown
West Jefferson. The gallery in the Arts Center consists of changing exhibits of local artists and
performances of music, poetry, literature, and more. Gallery hours are from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM Monday - Friday
and 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM on Saturdays (April - December).

You are seeking a uniquely camouflaged military pill bottle. At this size it only contains a log, so please be sure
to bring your own writing implement. After you have found the cache, put on your art-viewing
attitude and check out what the local canvas has to offer.
