The cache is a 1l black sistema box with a bright orange 'Yu-Gi-Oh' label. It has a couple of rocks on top to make it a little less conspicuous.

This is an Alpine area. Take appropriate care - e.g. take food, plenty of water, and warm/weatherproof clothing in case of a change in weather.
There are sheer cliffs both near the cache site, and on the track up.
Bealey Spur hut is at S 43° 01.978 E 171° 34.193. It would provide very basic accomodation. We also saw people camping just below the hut. Oli (9) walked to the hut, but not up to the cache site.
The carpark at the start of the walk is at S 43° 01.808 E 171° 37.765. Turn off the West Coast road at around S 43° 01.76 E 171° 37.92
