Helmet Buster Traditional Cache

NEW UPDATE: This was one of the first caches I DNFed when I started caching. It was a bit of a needle in a haystack, and I think I visited three times before finding it on my fourth trip. I was happy to adopt this old cache and help preserve the experience for fellow cachers. The old container is long gone, but I have made a new one in the spirit of the original. It will no longer bust your head, but you may scratch your head while searching.
ORIGINAL DESCRIPTION:
The Walnut Creek trail system has several limbs that hang low over the trail. This particular one is a nice solid branch hanging across the trail. It can be somewhat deceiving due to the way it is shaped – it gives the illusion that you have more clearance than you really do...especially at night. A fellow rider picked the wrong time to check the distance on his cyclometer and hit the limb full force. Busted his helmet and took him off his bike. Other than a sore back, neck, and having to buy a new helmet, he survived the encounter. You are looking for a micro guarded by the HELMET BUSTER! Beware the trees!
Don't forget to bring a writing utensil to sign the log.
Bike helmet advertisement from days past:
Guns don’t kill people, rocks and trees do!
