This cache is located along the Interpretive Trail at the Fulton Center for Sustainable Living at Wilson College. Keep your eyes peeled for wild turkey, deer, rabbits, birds, and waterfowl including two Great Blue Herons! There is plenty of informational signage along the way, so take the opportunity to learn a little about the surrounding flora and fauna. Enjoy!
The Fulton Center for Sustainable Living is a working organic farm and an educational site that offers various workshops throughout the year. The Center is located on the Wilson College Campus, with parking at
N 39 57.243 W 077 39.230
Take the road to Equestrian Center. After crossing two blue bridges, veer right and travel under the railroad bridge. The trail begins just after the bridge to the right. Parking is in front of the barn. The trail travels through wetlands, meadows, and woodlands. Please stay on the trail as much as possible and avoid bushwhacking to this cache. Have a great hike!!
P.S. The start of the trail has the potential for flooding if there has been a lot of rain. The trail can also be accessed by following the gravel road past the greenhouses to the top of the hill. Entrance is on your right, past the picnic table.
