About a three mile hike from posted parking lot. Mostly along paved multi-use trails but actually cache is off a unpaved trail with some underbrush. Pretty eas, but could be muddy at times.

The pakring lot is located on Whalepond Rd by the corner of Whalepond and Deal Rd.
Cache is located in Joe Palaia Park, Ocean Township NJ. Most of the residents of the town still refer to it as "Deal Test Site." Read the information board at the parking lot to learn the history of the park. The park contains several miles of paved multi-use trail with a few unpaved side trails branching off the paved path. The Cache is located on one of these unpaved paths. The park also has a playground, fairground, and several soccer and baseball fiedls. It's a nice place to take walks, run, or ride bicycles.
The cache is a small Glad container with a log book and some small toys like miniture figures, ping-pong balls, coins etc... The cache also has a log book and pen.
The cache is nicknamed deer trail because the only footprints on the trail when we hid it where that of a deer. The paths should be quite obvious to lead you to the cache, so please no bushwacking.
