Geocache Description:

This cache is located in a small cemetery east of Mildred, Kansas where I spent my younger years. My brother still lives here on our home place just at the west edge of Mildred. At the time my parents were married, the town was thriving and my father was manager of the grain elevator just north of town. Now, the only thing that is still there besides a few houses if the Brown’s Grocery Store. This little cemetery holds the graves of my parents, Walter & Dorothy Walton, as well as their many friends. The cache is located on an item that my brother, Doug Walton, made and is near my parents graves. Look for his plaque on this item. Please make sure you put the magnetic cache back where you found it to ensure it’s safety. The magnetic container is a sign only log so be sure to bring your own pen.
