THEME CACHE, I got this idea when I first started caching and found different kinds of coins being left in caches. I started picking them up to build this cache. Bring all your funny money to trade; if you want to take a coin or bill from the cache please leave one. PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU ARE NOT SEEN BY A MUGGLE WHEN RETRIEVING OR REPLACING THE CONTAINER.
This is a bit of a challenge located at the far end of the park on top of the hill at 717 FT in elevation.
You must follow the park rules, STAY ON THE TRAIL till you get to the cache area. All my caches are located 20 to 50 feet off the trial. You will be on two trails the Fossil Valley Trail and the Cattail Trail. These two trails connect to make a three-mile loop of trails with steep terrain.
The trail starts at the visitor’s center, pick up a map at the center and bring water. You will be able to log several caches, currently a total of seven caches are on the trail. The cache is located in the CEDAR RIDGE PRESERVE. At an elevation of 755 feet, Cedar Ridge Preserve is a slice of the hill country just 20 minutes outside Dallas. Located at 7171 Mountain Creek Parkway, Dallas, Texas 75249, Cedar Ridge Preserve is a not-for-profit natural habitat of 633 acres featuring 10 miles of hiking trails, a native plant nursery, butterfly gardens, and picnic areas. Hours: Sunrise to Sunset, Tuesday – Sunday.
