Geocache Description:

This strange synthesized music jumps into my head every time we roll through this tiny berg just off Highway 290!

If you love Christmas music, or if you lean towards New Age, you probably know who Mannheim Steamroller is. Chip Davis' brainchild became a household word in 1984, when the band recorded their wildly popular Christmas album, with sales of over 5 million records on the strength of their Contemporary version of "Deck The Halls" (it's one of my favorites ... I play it over and over!). They were popular for years before that in New Age circles, and continue to bring "Fresh Aire" to the music scene with their amazing synthesized versions of classical melodies.

Anyway, I decided that it was time to give them a little kudo, and you a little rest and relaxation, by placing this cache in Manheim, Texas. Have fun! Please feel free to post updated coordinates; the satellites were quite squirrely when we were there.

Happy Trails,
Candy
