Geocache Description:

This is Route 645 in Scott County, VA. The road is a paved two-lane road that is not heavily traveled. Parking is available close to the cache site in areas wide enough to pull to the side of the road.

The cache is a quart container with a screw type lid. It is very well camouflaged. One hundred feet from the cache is a very scenic overlook. This cache is placed to honor the ingenuity and determination of the human spirit, which brought electrical power to the mountains and hollows of southwest Virginia. Be sure not to miss the view. The small branch at your feet is Baker Branch. To the left is the Clinch River. Notice the nice river bottom farmland in front of you. Also marvel at the engineering accomplishment of the electrical lines before you. Don't miss the other caches in the area!
