Geocache Description:

This is Route 645 in Scott County, VA. It is a paved two-lane road. Parking is a wide area very close to the cache site. Cache is very close to the road.

The cache container is a 6x6x3 inch locking container. It is camouflaged and well hidden. A clue is in the name but you may need more. Be sure to look at the waterfall before you leave. Also look at the trees above struggling to hang on to life. This could have been one of the nicer spots in the county had nonresidents not decided to use it as a dump years ago. Much has been cleaned up but much more is needed.

My grandfather always believed this spot was haunted. He never liked to be around it at night. When he was a young man he traveled these roads on horseback. He had a horse that would not pass this spot after dark. He also believed something not alive chased him and his horse out of here one night. He would never say what it was but I know he saw something! Be sure to check out the other caches in the area.
