What A Great Gift II Traditional Cache
F'burg Don: It looks like it is time to archive the geocache. It survived more than eight years. Recent DNFs lead me to believe it has been removed.
It's a great location, but not convenient for me to maintain it any longer.

Located in Fredericksburg on the Rappahannock River in the Historic Old Mill District
The original geo cache ammo can was a Christmas gift from my brother-in-law, E A Tom in 2004. The cache was first hidden in March 2005 and survived until 2009. Winter snow, high water and debris prevented access to the island until April 2010. The new cache is located under a large rock at the top of the embankment. Reach the cache from the beach below.
Enjoy the view and visit the Historical Marker found on the roadside.
