Please join us to help CacheDetectives' son earn his Eagle Scout badge and clean up Dan's Rock at the same time. As you can see from the picture, the rock will probably be the largest project but there is plenty of other stuff that needs doing. On the list for the day:
• Clean the rock
• Repaint the bridge, handrails and other buildings
• Pick up trash
• Clean and paint picnic tables and benches
• Fix the broken cement wall
As you can see, it's a beautiful area that folks have decided to destroy. You can see for miles off into the distance.
We plan to meet out there for the CITO and some lunch as well. There is a small restaurant called Creekside Cafe in Lonanconing (39° 33.933N, 78° 58.867) where we could have lunch around 11 and then do the CITO event in the afternoon.
