The Grinder cache is located at Devil's Millhopper Geological State Park, in Gainesville, Florida, USA. The park is open from 9:00am to 5:00pm Wednesday through Sunday. It is closed on Monday and Tuesday. There is a self-service park admission fee of $4.00 per vehicle (up to eight visitors). The Grinder can only be hunted when the park is open. It is not necessary to descend into the sinkhole to find this cache. Pets are allowed. The park entrance is located at: N29°42.212 W082°23.632.
This is a very popular park so muggle traffic can be intense at times. Use stealth when grabbing and replacing these caches. Stage One has two containers because they continue to go missing. You only need to find one to get the coordinates to Stage 2 and logbook. Both are small flat magnetic containers. Both have the same coordinates to the second stage cache. Please make sure that you put the containers back so that they are flat and securely attached to the metal plate, so they don't fall down. The magnets are strong but they must be placed flat in order to hold. Stage 2 of this multi is a micro size cache hidden in a unique way to blend in with it's surroundings. There is no room for trade items just the logbook. Do not leave the trail - both stages are on the trail. If you plan on hunting this cache you may want to download another cache called That Old Sinking Feeling Earthcache and do both while you are there.
