Placed for the 2005 CAM.
This is located in the Dundee & Saltpeter Creeks Park near Chase, MD. The park is open 7 days a week, but the hours are 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. The gates are locked outside this time. There are also no pets allowed in the park.
The cache located about .35 miles from the Marshy Point Nature Center. Follow the White Tail Trail from the nature center. The trail has the potential to get muddy. The cache is only about 30 feet from the trail, so please make sure you rehide it well.
Once you find the cache, head back the way you came, but instead of going back to the nature center, stay on the trail and it will put you on Iron Point. Take a look around, you may see some of the eagles, or herons.
While you are here, stop in the nature center, it's a great place. Take a look at some of the local species they have living in the center.
