The cache is very easy to get to, but it is a stretch above head height.
These amazing white gates, hidden away on a quiet country lane, are one of the very best wrought iron screen gates in the UK.
They were commissioned by George Wynne in the 1720s, who made his fortune extracting lead from the mines at Halkyn.
The screen measures 100 feet in length. It was always intended as a decorative feature of the landscape, and not for the passage of vehicles. You will see there is no road on the other side.
