Geocache Description:

A Micro located in the City of Rocks. Make sure you sign the log and answer the questions below.

The City of Rocks is not only a great rock climbing area, but is steeped in history as well. Over 250,000 gold-seekers, farmers, and their families traveling over the California Trail in the 1840's and 1850's.  The City of Rocks was one of their favorite places to stop and rest.  About 30 miles to the northeast at a place called "Decision Point", they had to decide if they were going to Oregon or California . For an interesting cache see Parting of the Ways: Oregon or California?
