Geocache Description:

A small ammo box is hidden near the Wissahickon Creek in Fairmount Park.

We parked at the end of Rex Ave. (N40 04.186 W75 12.955) when we placed this cache. (There are, of course, other places to park and approach this cache site.) Follow the trail to the bridge and cross Wissahickon Creek. A short bushwhack off a well maintained trail will get you to the cache. The walking distance from the parking coordinates to the site is about .5 mile. After we hid the cache, we realized that thorns will block a cacher's approach from one particular direction. We did not walk through any thorns when we hid the cache, and you do not have to walk through any to find it.
