Geocache Description:

The Roman Bridge

Set in the Roman Lakes Leisure park in the Goyt Valley.

Park at the visitors centre N53 23.231 W002 02.845.
There is plenty for children to do here and watch out for the peacocks. Then take a pleasant riverside walk to the cache.

The cache is a 35mm Film canister near the Roman Bridge.
The "Roman" tag was coined in Victorian times to add a little romanticism to this pack horse bridge dating back to the 17th century.

This cache is well worth a visit and remember the camera.
