Medusa Traditional Geocache
PisoMojado: I like this spot, but I need to rethink this hide. I'm archiving it, and if and when I replace it, it will be a new hide.

A full sized cache on Stanford campus, near the spreading branches of an incredible oak tree. Recommended as an excellent night find.
This oak tree is something special. It has an incredible number of branches, and seems almost like a supersized bush rather than a graceful oak. At night (there is plenty of lighting) it seems like the severed head of an oaken Medusa, with each branch resembling an outstretched snake.
The cache is a plastic cashew container about a half gallon in volume. It should be completely concealed--please leave it that way after you find it. There is no need to step on or thrash any plant life to get to it.
I personally dislike looking for caches that could be anywhere, but this one will require some luck or perseverance, as its placement tends to wander a bit. I had a very specific hint--a spoiler, really--when I first placed it, but since then the cache has moved by 20', and then back 10', through successive finds. I've upped the difficulty rating to reflect this.
Parking on campus is generally restricted between 6 AM and 4 PM on weekdays, and is widely available and unrestricted after 4 PM and on weekends. Enjoy!
