2-24-10. Because the "pointless" cache was destroyed and a replacement can not be found, the cammo and coords have been changed.
This is the 3d in a series of 5 caches on one section of the South Poway Trail. To complete all 5 caches, the hike will be less than 2 miles round trip. The trail from SPT #2 to this cache will begin to climb and will have the steepest elevation changes of the 5 caches. You will need to leave the trail a short distance to find this cache. Please be sensitive to the vegetation in this area.
Parking is available near the South Poway staging area off Metate Lane. The South Poway Trail offers great views of Poway and travels from Pomerado Rd. east to Sycamore Canyon Rd.
