Geocache Description:

A quick cache and dash for those who love the smell of burning rubber and the feel of horsepower.

Irwindale Speedway was recently voted best short track facility in the US. That is an impressive award given such tracks as Bristol and Martinsville which host NEXTEL cup events. Three wide racing is a common site at this place unlike other tracks that surrender to playing follow the leader. Speeds reach at times 110 miles per hour which is amazing considering that it is a 1/2 mile speedway. This cache is dedicated to this great place. Try and keep the swag race themed.
