BRF Jeepin Trail 1 Traditional Cache
Please note Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions
in our disclaimer.
You will need a 4X4 to locate this cache, if you like getting your rig dirty, bouncing all around, and not knowing the next time you will get stuck then this is the cache for you. Note: if traveling alone, bring chains and Come-a-Longs (or winch). The cache is a short 1 min. walk from the 4x4 trail.
The cache is a 4" pvc tube that is about 8" long. There is a log book and pen, some money (for the first person), carmex, fingernail polish (for the female geocacher), and dice. It may be difficult to find the cache when there is snow. The challenge of this cache are the trails. There are some great logging trails all over in this area. Make sure you bring chains and come-a-longs or a have a winch. The trails are the most challlenging during the spring months since everything is melting and really muddy. If you find the cache continue traveling West about 1/10th of mile; I've gotten stuck each time taking over an hour to get out. I needed just another inch or two of clearance to get past this point. As always -- Tread Lightly -- enjoy.
