Welcome to
the first ever (hopefully not the last!) "Bedford Geocachers Mega Easter Egg
Hunt" *phew*
If you're free on
Easter Saturday and fancy coming down to Bedford for a spot of
caching/walking/meeting fellow cachers/enjoying the lovely view (and the
munching of chocolate of course!) then this is the event cache for you!
The plan is for
everyone to meet at the above co-ords at 2pm - or as close to as you can make
it. On arrival you'll be given a co-ordinate (at least one for
every person) which corresponds with a hidden Easter egg *safely hidden in a
non-loggable microcache*. Some of the eggs contain special tickets which when
bought back to the meeting point can be exchanged for bigger eggy prizes.
Everyone's guaranteed an egg and if there are any kiddies/young uns present
they’re bound to go away with something worth coming over for...
We thought it'd be a
nice chance for a cacher get together - it’s a lovely bit of England to walk and
there's a top spot to have lunch/liquidy refreshments nearby. There are quite a
few local caches to do as well, we plan on having quite a few more in the area
by the event! Please feel very free to bring free Bugs for swapping!! If you are
planning to attend the event could you let us know how many will be attending so
C knows how many eggs to hide on the day, its pretty unlikely but some people
could miss out if we get swamped.
