The general theme for this gentle series of loosely connected caches is the sea, or rather the lack of it. There are many things around us that suggest that they should be in a more brine-laden setting than they actually are.
At the start location inspect one side of the sign above your head and count the number of sails and flags or pennants on view (AB). Facing away from the sign, cross the road, turn right and head for: N 51º 45.050 W001º 14.356. Turn left and pass the Central Oxford Mosque on your way to the next waypoint.
Using the number collected from the sign walk to
N 51º 45.113 + AB W001º 14.438 - AB
You will see from the blue sign that the park opens at 7am (10am Sundays and Bank Holidays) but closes at the times listed below:
Nov - January 4:30pm
February 5:30pm
March 6:00pm
April 8:00pm
May – July 9:00pm
August 8:30pm
September 7:00pm
October 6:00pm and 4:30pm after the clocks change.
Close to the park entrance sit IN the wall and look at the yellow sign. The top numbers are CD and the bottom one is E. To the left of the yellow sign is a gateway and security gate. Stealthily retrieve the flat number (FG) that has the code B0017 without the camera spotting you.
