A Walk along the trail.
This cache originally owned by GPS Dave has been adopted in order to keep the cache alive.
This was an awesome mile walk from where I entered the path, there are quicker ways to get in. In fact, there is an opening less than 1/4 mile from the cache. (there might be closer entrances but I am not aware of them)
This is several feet off the dirt path in an area in which the paved path is only about 10 or 20 feet from the dirt path.
FTF gets their pick of what they want. It is chock full of goodies. Have you seen the new 2005 Jefferson Nickels? I have about 8 of them in there individually packaged. I'd like to keep it one per person but if you have a partner with you, feel free to take an extra. I have coins in the cache as well as kids stuff. "Yellow Smug" Travel Bug is in the cache as well so please make sure you send him on his way. Please sign the log so I know you have been there!
This is one of many caches in this path starting from Bethpage St. Park to the Massapequa preserve. I'm placing this here in hopes people will make a day of caching along these paths. It is peaceful, it can be quiet, it can be relaxing and there are some magnificant sights to see.
