This is right by the corrals for the wild horses and burros.
When the BLM rounds up horses from the area this is where they place them until they can be relocated, adopted or......
This is not a difficult cache. Just a reason to go and visit the horses in Palomino Valley if you have not done so in a while. If you have never gone, go for the cache, stay around for the horses. Watching the foals run around irritating the older horses is quite entertaining.
There is a dirt road that runs around the whole place that is open to all. There also are signs posted on the fence advising people to call in to report suspicious behavior so use stealth. Don't want anyone being picked up by animal control. haha
Cache is filled with better than usual dollar store items.
