The Waldie Island Trail is a very interesting trail that highlights the history of this part of the Columbia River. The Castlegar Friends of Parks and Trails developed this intepetive trail - take time to read the historical pannels and try to picture all the activity going on here years ago while you stroll along looking for the cache. You are looking for a smallish green container - the pirates won it at an event cache and just "had to use it". So if your bringing trade items think small.
