Der Berliner Platz soll demnächst neu bebaut werden. Dieser Cache ermöglicht Euch, die Vorgänge vor Ort zu beobachten.
Beginnen wird das ganze ab Sommer, wenn die ersten Behörden beginnen dort auszuziehen, ab Herbst ist mit dem Beginn der Abrisstätigkeit zu rechnen (wenn den alles nach Plan geht). Da eine Bushaltestelle in der Nähe ist, passt auf, dass Ihr nicht beobachtet werdet. Bitte fügt Eurem Log ein Bild der gegenüberliegenden Strassenseite bei. Dort steht noch eine Oiginal-Strassenlaterne aus den 60ern. Mit Hilfe der Bilder kann man dann den Abriss und die Neubebauung beobachten. Es ist durchaus erwünscht das Cacher die nochmals später wenn sich etwas auf der Baustelle geändert hat nochmal ein Photo mit den Veränderungen posten aber bitte nur als Note!
Da es in der Vergangenheit immermal wieder Nachfragen in den Logs gab. Der Zeitplan (woe er auch mal in der Zeitung stand) sieht wie folgt aus: Auszug der Behörden im Sommer, Abriss der Gebäude im Herbst und Winter, Beginn der Neubebauung daran anschliessend im Frühjahr Sommer 2006.
Da ich momentan leider nicht kontrollieren kann ob die Dose noch da ist oder nicht darf man diesen Cache vorläufug auch nur mit dem Photo von einem selbst mit der Laterne / Baustelle im Hintergrund loggen.
New Building will be erected soon at the Berliner Platz in Gießen. This Cache will give you the chance to observe the changes.
Starting in Summer 2005 the first Agencies will move to new (temporary) Buildings, in October the destruction of the excisting Buildings should start (if on schedule). As there is a Bus Stopp nearby please be aware of Muggles. Please ad a Photograph of the Buildings of the Berliner Platz to your log (there also is a nice street lamp from the 60ties) The construction of the new Buildings is scheduled for spring 2006, we will see if they can keep the schedule. The cache is hidden behind leaves in an approx. hight of 1,0 m.
As I currently do not have the possibility to check if the Micro is still in place, you might log that cache temporarely with just the photograph showing you and the construction area!
